Sleeping style

Cocoon beds are designed for dogs who love to curl up, snuggle into soft surroundings or burrow under covers. The enclosed shape creates a calm, sheltered space, offering warmth and a sense of security, particularly suited to dogs who enjoy feeling tucked in while they rest.

Available sizes

Small — outer diameter 60 cm / inner sleeping area 40 cm

Ideal for Chihuahuas, miniature pinschers, cats and other toy or small breeds, typically up to around 7 kg

Medium — outer diameter 85 cm / inner sleeping area 58 cm

Suitable for Jack Russells, Shih Tzus, pugs, dachshunds, Yorkshire terriers, French bulldogs and cocker spaniels, generally between 7 kg and 18 kg

Large — outer diameter 100 cm / inner sleeping area 72 cm

Best suited to beagles, springer spaniels, whippets, Staffordshire bull terriers, medium vizslas and smaller German shorthaired pointers, typically between 18 kg and 30 kg

Extra Large — outer diameter 125 cm / inner sleeping area 90 cm

Designed for German shepherds, larger weimaraners, larger vizslas, greyhounds, larger German shorthaired pointers, Rhodesian ridgebacks and giant breeds, generally from 30 kg upwards

Handmade in Yorkshire by Collared Creatures, this bed is crafted using carefully selected, upholstery-grade fabrics chosen for their durability, comfort and considered finish.

Designed to withstand everyday use while sitting effortlessly within the home, each piece reflects a balance of practicality and thoughtful design.

At its core, a 10 cm solid orthopaedic foam base provides a supportive foundation, helping to distribute weight evenly and offering enhanced comfort for dogs who benefit from additional joint and spine support. The surrounding bolster ring is generously padded to create a soft yet structured edge, allowing dogs to rest their head comfortably while maintaining a sense of enclosure.

The hood is carefully constructed to hold its shape, supported by an internal frame with removable elements that allow for easy assembly and flexibility. This creates a calm, den-like environment while ensuring dogs can move in and out with ease. Optional additions can be used to further enhance warmth and privacy, depending on your dog’s preference.

Inside, a soft lining offers a warm and inviting place to rest, designed to encourage relaxation and a gentle, cocoon-like feel. The removable outer cover allows for straightforward care, making it well suited to everyday living.

Designed for everyday use, this bed is easy to care for with simple, regular maintenance.

To clean, remove the outer cover and machine wash at 30°C using a gentle cycle and mild detergent. Before washing, ensure any internal rod or hood insert (where applicable) is removed.

Allow to air dry naturally, either hung or laid flat. Avoid tumble drying, as this may affect the shape and longevity of the materials.

For best results, avoid the use of fabric softeners, bleach or ironing, as these can impact the performance and feel of the fabric over time.

Between washes, a quick wipe with a damp cloth will help keep the cover fresh. Regular vacuuming will remove pet hair and everyday debris, while spot cleaning small marks promptly will help maintain the bed’s appearance.

Each Collared Creatures piece is thoughtfully made or prepared with care, so delivery times may vary slightly depending on the product.

Collars and leads are handmade to order and, during busier periods, may take approximately 7–10 working days to be made before dispatch. Beds and blankets are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days.

As most items are made to order, cancellations after this time may not be possible.

We hope you love your order, but if something isn’t quite right you’re welcome to return any unused item in its original condition within 7 days of receiving it.
