Finding the right size

For the best fit, we recommend measuring your dog before ordering. Measure from where the collar naturally sits to the start of the tail for coat length, and around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, for girth. The adjustable fastening allows for flexibility, so the coat can be secured comfortably to suit your dog’s shape. If you’re unsure which size to choose, we’re always happy to help.

Handmade in Yorkshire by Collared Creatures, this drying coat is crafted using carefully selected, high-performance fabrics designed to balance practicality with everyday comfort. Built for regular use, it offers a considered combination of durability, absorbency and ease of wear.

At its core, a dense microfibre towelling layer works to draw moisture away from the coat, helping to speed up the drying process after wet walks, bathing or swimming. This is paired with a soft fleece outer, designed to retain warmth while your dog dries, creating a more comfortable and gradual transition from wet to dry.

The extended, wrap-around design has been thoughtfully constructed to maximise coverage across the body, including the underbelly, ensuring consistent contact where moisture tends to linger. Adjustable fastenings allow for a secure yet flexible fit, accommodating a range of body shapes while keeping the coat comfortably in place.

Practical details are integrated throughout, including a structured collar with a zip opening for airflow and adaptability, along with a discreet lead access point that allows the coat to be worn while on the move.

Finished with durable construction and designed for easy care, the coat can be machine washed and air dried, making it a reliable and low-maintenance addition to your dog’s routine.

Designed for everyday use, this drying coat is easy to care for with simple, regular maintenance.

Machine wash at 30°C using a gentle cycle and mild detergent, ensuring all fastenings are secured before washing to help maintain their quality over time.

Allow to air dry naturally, either laid flat or hung. Tumble drying is not recommended, as this may affect the structure and performance of the materials.

Between washes, shake out any debris and allow the coat to air if damp. Keeping the fastenings free from hair and dirt will help maintain a secure fit and ensure the coat continues to perform as intended.

Each Collared Creatures piece is thoughtfully made or prepared with care, so delivery times may vary slightly depending on the product.

Collars and leads are handmade to order and, during busier periods, may take approximately 7–10 working days to be made before dispatch. Beds and blankets are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days.
