Field Collection Slip Lead

The slip lead is approximately 150–155cm in total length.

Made from 8mm rope, it offers a balanced feel in the hand while remaining lightweight and easy to use.

As a slip lead, part of the length forms the loop around your dog’s neck, so the usable lead length will vary depending on how it is fitted.

Each lead is handmade in Cheshire, UK by Tweed & Tether using soft, durable premium rope designed for everyday use.

Finished with solid brass hardware throughout, including a smooth leather stopper and brass ring to allow controlled adjustment. The lead is completed with Tweed & Tether’s signature tag and brass end caps, combining practicality with classic country style.

To keep your rope slip lead looking and performing at its best, we recommend simple, regular care.

The rope can be gently wiped clean with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris after use. For heavier soiling, use mild soap with lukewarm water and allow to air dry naturally.

Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals or soaking, as this may affect both the rope and leather stopper over time.

Brass fittings may naturally develop a patina with use, adding to the character of the piece. If preferred, they can be lightly polished to maintain their original shine.

Store in a dry place when not in use.
